BMHOF Class of 2008

This induction includes 4 members of one of Buffalo’s premier musical families and is the first time an entire family of entertainers has been honored in this way. Each member has substantial talent and accomplishments and could have been inducted separately but this tribute is well received in the Buffalo music community. Patriarch Robert was pianist and conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic but also well known as a choir director and conductor of numerous WNY musical ensembles. Son Robert is a nationally acclaimed classical and jazz percussionist with recordings and performances at Carnegie Hall. Son Dave, among his numerous accomplishments as a keyboardist for numerous LA based groups can be heard on recordings and live with The Goo Goo Dolls (1995 BMHOF Inductees). Daughter Gretchen, a singer/songwriter with the local group, The Pine Dogs, has gone on to a successful solo career, including her CD, “Everything Counts”.
