Dale Anderson
BMHOF Class of 2003
As the Buffalo News' first
rock critic and co-founder of the paper's popular entertainment weekly,
"Gusto", Dale Anderson has worked to shape the minds of Buffalo area music
fans since 1970. As a tireless advocate for local music, (his empathy stemming
from working the local clubs as a bass player in the 60s) Dale's "Hot Wings"
record label has helped to launch the careers of such local luminaries
as Alison Pipitone and Geoffrey Fitzhugh Perry.
As Ani DiFranco's original
manager, Dale played an instrumental part in making her a household name
and transforming the independent music industry forever. |
