"Big Steve" Krzeminski

Steve's love of polka filled the airwaves and hearts of the Buffalo area in a career spanning over 40 years. Noted locally for his decades of work in local radio, Krzeminski, at 6'3", was a very recognizable figure on the national polka scene. The National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences honored big Steve's career for his many contributions to the field. Big Steve Krzeminski passed away November 6, 1998. Always available to play for local audiences even when his national career beckoned, "Big Steve" will always be remembered as a very big man who loomed even larger in the hearts of those who also cherished the music he loved.
