Mike Cox was voted top rock drummer at the 1988, 1989 and 1990 Buffalo Music Awards while performing with 33 West. Previously, he had worked with the Beez, White Lies, Incognito and September's All-Star Band. He recorded an album with the North Tonawanda High School Jazz Band and had a number of cassette releases with 33 West and White Lies.
