Dave Elder

Dave started playing guitar when he was 14, and started playing professionally when he was 16, with music being the only job he has had ever since. Originally from Jamestown, his first bands were based in that area and he took his trio Chautauqua on the road, working in Florida during the winter and in the Northeast for the rest of the year. Before moving to Buffalo to join the Road, he lived and worked with bands in Denver, Phoenix and San Francisco. After working with the Road he was in the Vincent Michaels Band and formed Party Squad in 1986. Dave has done a lot of commercial recording at various studios for Jungles, has done demos with the Road, Vincent Michaels and Party Squad, plus he has devoted five years to developing his own midi/digital/SMPTE orientated  recording studio. In addition to performing, he operates a midi digital recording studio, where he produces other artists and composes in a variety of styles.
